My FLIT-16 motor is not working and/or the display does not turn on

No power from motor, display still on

This is likely to be a loose torque sensor connection. The torque sensor is what senses your pedalling effort, so if there is a loose connection you won't feel the boost from the motor.

To check the torque sensor connections, simply push together the connectors (the locations are shown below). You should be able to feel them underneath the cable braiding.

If you still can't feel assistance from the motor please get in touch, we'll let you know the next best steps.

*Loose torque sensor connections can be caused by the cables being pulled when carrying your bike. To avoid this, make sure you place your fingers between the top tube and cables when carrying. For the best carrying positions, check out our article here.

Display not turning on

Check battery is not in hibernation mode by holding down the power button until the battery lights illuminate.

Check the battery is fully inserted into the frame.

If you're still having problems get in touch, we're happy to help.
