What type of replacement brake pads should I buy for my FLIT bike?
Front brakes - FLIT-16
For the front brakes you’ll need v-brake pads. The direct replacement is Tektro 520.12 55mm which you can find in most stores. Most other manufacturers will work too though, as long as it’s a v-brake pad of similar length.
Rear brakes - FLIT-16
For the rear brakes, you’ll need road brake pads, 50mm length. Clarks CP250 are a good value and easy to source option.
Front & REar brakes - FLIT M2
The brakes on the M2 are Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes. These are fairly common and can be serviced by any qualified bike mechanic. Should you need replacement brake pads then you will need to make sure they are compatible with Tektro HD-R280 brakes. The pads dimensions are 35x30.68mmx4mm.
