How to loosen and tighten the hinges

LOOSENING THE HINGES

To loosen the hinges, turn the clamp handle 5 times anticlockwise. The black clamp should not be loosened to the extent that it comes out of the hinge.

TIGHTENING THE HINGES

To tighten the hinges, turn the handle clockwise as far as you can with one finger, then add a quarter turn with two. You should not need to tighten any further than this. Over-tightening may damage the hinge.

You should check that the hinges are tightened properly before every ride.
