How to fit the Klickfix Handlebar Adapter

How to fit the Klickfix Handlebar Adapter

FITTING THE ADAPTER

The Klickfix adapter can be fitted onto the handlebar stem, or steerer tube – depending on which position you’d like your bag to be in. Klickfix instructions on how to fit the adapter can also be found here.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

1 x Philips screwdriver

First, insert the two rubber stickers on the inside facing side of both parts of the adapter. These protect the paintwork on your bike.

Then, place the locking mechanism on the front of your bike, just underneath the handlebar clamp. The red button on the mechanism should be facing upwards. Position the mounting bracket on the opposite side, then thread the screws through.

Tighten the screws with a screwdriver to secure the mount.

USING THE ADAPTER

You can use the Klickfix adapter with any handlebar accessories that have a Klickfix compatible plate. To use, simply line up your bag with the adapter and push to click it into place. To release the bag, press the read button.

Please note that the maximum load is 7kg.
